Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implementation of the Contractor’s Social Management Plan to manage social risks, including the STD, HIV/AIDS prevention and all mitigation plans, risks related to labour influx, child protection, and gender related risks.
- Supervise the implementation of the Grievance Management Plan to support reporting and handling of all grievances related to the project including those resulting from involuntary resettlement and injurious affection due to the project and related sub projects.
- Act as a link between the project staff, the employer, Consultants and the respective local government structures.
- Sensitize staff, community and other Stakeholders on the social Safeguards requirements for the Project
- Perform any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time by the CSCEC
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Works and Social Administration or an equivalent
- A minimum of four years of experience in the same position.
